I don’t actually remember a lot about making the tracks for this record but we must have been in Italy possibly at Parco Nord, Bologna. All the tracks on the 2 acid cheese records are unnamed, which made things fairly confusing although some can be easily identified by the samples used.
Acid Cheese was like my part of Network 23, like a sub label, or just a name for my productions within the label.
Before we sent the masters off to the pressing plant we set the soundsystem up in the middle of the car park and listened to the tracks in order to hear what they sounded like on the rig.

A2 “Balloons” was arranged on notator on the stacey laptop by me and Seb (69DB) on the Sunday evening during Blast Off 95 party in Rome, we did it then as it was not always easy to find time to work in the studio in a good park up while the Genny was running, we had just about finished and were ready to record and enjoy the last hours of the party when the Genny ran out ! We hadn’t saved and were obliged to start the arrangement all over again when the Genny restarted, how many times did we need to learn this lesson ?
I had asked BiBi to draw me the design for the label which depicts an imaginary sheet of acid, where each of 4 trips shows a picture of a different cheese, Edam, Camembert, Emmental and the laughing cow !
